Challenge

National Tiles has a huge national presence thanks to the iconic radio ads voiced by Frank Walker, but we needed to expand that footprint to capture more trade customers.

Trade is a notoriously hard segment to sell to. In an environment where building costs are going through the roof, trades are forced to reduce costs in every aspect of the build. Another critical component of construction and renovation is time. We knew that we needed to capitalize on both of these challenges, and communicate to our audience that National Tiles can do both, better.

Goal

Create a TVC that leverages one of National Tiles’ sponsorship assets - Dick Johnson Racing.

Our objective was to produce a high-impact TV commercial that would not only capture the attention of the target audience but also clearly communicate the unique value proposition of National Tiles Trade in a fun and engaging way. The goal was to boost brand awareness and achieve a measurable uplift in new trade account sign-ups directly following the campaign launch.

Result

One of the fastest TV production times in history! (we think)

Dick Johnson Racing is located right around the corner from a National Tiles showroom in Queensland. DJR let us know they had their cars there, and if we’d like to get some photos. Cue a TVC concept, storyboard, and filming all within 48 hours!
